Air Canada Boeing 767 Flight 830 Suffers Bird Strike During Landing at Geneva Switzerland

GENEVA SWITZERLAND – An Air Canada Boeing 767-300 registration FMWV performing flight 830 from Montreal Canada to Geneva Switzerland was on final approach to Geneva’s runway 23 being cleared to land when the crew reported they hit a bird.

The crew continued for a safe landing on runway 23 and vacated the runway.

The aircraft sustained a large dent to the nose dome.

The return flight of Air Canada 831 was cancelled due to the bird strike.
